For over 20 years, Marisa Pensa has been helping sales teams roll up their sleeves and win. As the founder of Methods in Motion, a sales advisory and training company, she’s partnered with hundreds of businesses from the banking industry to industrial equipment — helping them drive real, measurable growth.
Marisa knows that a client’s success is not about a training event, but rather a sustainable rhythm that becomes ingrained in the culture to drive growth for years to come. She’s the co-author of the Competitive Selling book series — The Guidebook to Proactive Calling in a Reactive World, The Guidebook to Resilient Virtual Selling, and the upcoming Pipeline Momentum for Game-Changing Results (due out in 2025). She's also a certified “Effective Facilitator” through the Leadership Strategies Institute, and writes regularly in the Independent Dealer Magazine.
As a rare Atlanta native, she lives in Georgia with her husband of 26 years, Troy, their 16-year-old Golden Retriever Maggie, and will be welcoming a new member of the family soon — a spirited puppy sister. When Marisa's not working with clients, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, or leading a couples Sunday School class at her church.
